Poem 1 - Angel On Mortal Floor

Laughter now amidst my own confusion

For I saw an image of which I can’t be sure.

Her Hair matched that of autumn moors

And healed me better than any witch doctor cures.

Tangled tightly in her rose torn petals

I was smothered happily by a heavenly, creamy, warmth.

I do not care for the ticking clocks

As white rocks shine brighter than any stars.

Love is different in each moment’s past

And tis this moment where I feel it last.

Ecstasy has fallen upon this naive lap of mine

And fixes parts of me which others dare not see.

A face that captures my briefest moments

May mean nothing to most as they disappear fast.

Yet underneath these God kissed skies

It means more to you than any golden surprise.

I believe I found an angel on mortal floor

And now she flies beside me, everywhere I go.
